Running away from home

I ran away from home when I was younger... 10 or so... nothing was going on at home. But I always heard a great deal about running awayšŸ™ˆ. In school, you will listen to how so and so ran away.

So I ran... Or rather, I walked away from home on a sunny summers day with my friend Christina. It was the summer holidays.

We were two children who had never left their street before, except to go to school or the local parkšŸ¤¦šŸ¾ā€ā™€ļø. You know as a child, all you know is the route you were taught to walk. No more, no less.

Well, after walking for what seemed like hours. Every street was new to us. We were exhausted and tired of the run (walk). We agreed that we were well and truly lost.

I remember the feeling like it was yesterday...

We wanted to be looked for... Like they looked for those we heard about. We wanted to remain lost - I wasn't quite sure about this part because I was already tired. We wanted to be part of the runaway list of children.

We eventually came across a park, and we were so excited that we had found a park we hadn't been to before. We continued walking, exploring the park and being lostšŸ¤¦šŸ¾ā€ā™€ļø....

We then arrived at a part of the park that looked familiar. Only to find that we were at the other end of our local parkšŸ˜”

We laughed all the way home

That was the end of the runner way series... šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

I woke up nakedā€¦.

I was in my twenties. It was November and I remember it was snowing. That was when it snowed in winter. It sounds strange to hear this now ā€¦. as the sun seems to come up most especially in the winter
