I had another girl in my swimming class the other day (I will recall the 1st girl story soon)… just 2 of us in the pool…
So anyway I headed for tge sauna as i usually do. She asked to see the sauna so I took her along and showed her the sauna… she had only heard of the sauna… but never seen one… she told me that her mum goes to the sauna…she then asked me… is this all they (women) do…. Sit in this heat🤣🤣🤣🤣….
… by the by… I educated her a bit on the benefit of sauna/steam….
I continued chatting with her… turns out that she is a new graduate… just got her first job as a cashier in a bank…. inshort I found out first that she was a cashier…. then I enquired about her education…she said she did maths😳…. As Igbo woman I shouted … mathematics (igbotic way – MA-TE-MA-TICS 🙈…
anyways… it turns out that A level maths was the only A subject was good at… and subsequently passed🤐…. she then said I’m really good at maths… I said ok (you think🤔)… so she decided to test herself and applied to study maths in university…. she got a 1st class…. I shouted again…. 1st class in mathematics (a few times)🙈…. she said she studied very hard just to test herself….
I was terrible at maths. I hated the subject like one hates having injection. I just didn’t gerrit🙄.. I am indeed not the sharpest pencil when it comes to the science subjects… maths ..biology.. chemistry… physics…
I mean who designed this things… they were very painful for me to learn😫…. and are there to confuse the matter… but on the other hand… the Arts subjects I learnt effortlessly…. love humanities …. I’m such a charity case… 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣…. funny how my love for taking care of the sick and dying led me to where I am now… definately not a science student🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Anyway I continue to congratulate this young mathematician even in her absense… she deserves an accolade 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
